The Cornucopia, or Horn of Plenty, has become a symbol of abundance, especially at Thanksgiving and is typically pictured, as these are, as overflowing with the bounty of the harvest. But the Cornucopia has also come to symbolize those things for which we should offer thanks all year long, such as love, liberty, happiness, health, friendship, etc. So when you take your place and join hands at your Thanksgiving table this year, remember to be thankful for more than just the food on your plate.
