Highland West / Columbus, Ohio
Highland West is bound by Hague Ave on the west, Valleyview on the north, I-70 on the east, and Sullivant Ave on the south. It is the most diverse neighborhood and the most historical of the hilltop, being the boundaries of the original Hilltop District from the late 1800's and before that to the earlier settlers who called the area home in the early 1800's. The area has begun to revitalize as more young urban professionals have discovered the area as an excellent area for affordable housing stock, with many requiring little to no renovation. Being a three minute drive to downtown and an area with bike lanes and boulevards has added to the attractiveness of the region for those seeking to live in a diverse, urban environment.
