Welcome to Drakestone!

The Drakestone Homeowners Association was established by the developers of the subdivision soon after its inception.

The covenants for Section I were filed in the Canadian County Court Clerk’s office in October of 1996. The officers were Harry Merson, Marc Silver, and Richard Shepheard. They oversaw all activities from home building to architectural change requests.

It was not until Section IV was near completion that this Association was taken over by the residents of the area. Mr. Merson and his associates still held a voting majority and this was in place until the Section V lots were sold for development.

Today, the Association is governed by updated bylaws and covenants. It has a Board of 5 to 9 members. This Board elects its officers and takes on specific areas of activity, which include subdivision maintenance, architectural issues, and covenant / bylaw issues.
