A family centered neighborhood, Hermosa is made up of mostly single family brick or frame bungalows, with a few apartments, townhomes and condo's. The area enjoys 3 parks, Hermosa Park, Henry Greenbaum Playlot Park and Keystone Playlot Park. Mexican food abounds as well as other ethnic restaurants. Shopping is plentiful in the neighborhood and access to the rest of the Chicago area is easy via freeways, train or CTA.
