Fort Oglethorpe in Throes of Growth

As we introduce this page to our fellow citizens in September, 2014

our city is in a tremendous growth spurt. Three major retail developments are going on simultaneously with as much as $ 300 million to be invested, if one includes the land purchases and site preparation. Once the stores are ready, millions more will be spent on merchandise for inventory.

The city has for years led the growth rate in the region and experts predict that the city and county population will double over the next two decades. Stay with us on this site and we will try and keep you abreast of ways to make this growth work in your favor.
