Lived and worked in Fort Oglethorpe for 35 plus years. Served in the Merchants Association, the Chamber of commerce and helped put on Old Fort Day for several years. Have served on several state committee's that was related to our city and county and to this region of the state. Also served on the tax board and was Chairman of the library board for four years.

 In addition have served on several committee's that was related to the school system.

 Mentioning this only to say that I am trying to look at Fort Oglethorpe from the inside out, I do not have any political enemies nor do I have any hidden agendas. My purpose is to try and define a city in transition with the hope that many of the young people in town will find this discussion interesting and helpful.
