Welcome to Fible Farms West Website!!!

We are located near Centerfield, in Oldham County, convenient to Crestwood and LaGrange, and I-71 at exit 18 and 22. Fible Farms West is a lovely, minimum 5 acre lot community known for its lovely rolling hills and scenic views. If you have public school children, they will attend Locust Grove Elementary, East Oldham Middle School and Oldham County High School.

Attached you should be able to find a directory, the deed of restrictions, a map of the subdivision, and hopefully before too long, a newsletter and possibly a professional directory where residents can promote their personal business and a babysitter list, if desired.

We have no formal or required homeowners association dues. However, we have voluntary, gifts, if you will, to keep the neighborhood looking its best.

The roads are county maintained. However, the volunteer committee and the volunteer money have worked on the Hwy 22 entrance in 2010, repairing the rock entry walls, adding 4 board fencing, contracted LG and E for the new entry lighting, and the new landscaping.

We have for years had a rotating list of residents, hoping that each is able to take their turn, in the suggested week, to keep the front up. Mowing, weeding, etc. has been handled this way for years, though the list evaporated the past few years.

A small group has gotten together to do holiday decorations just after Thanksgiving as well.

The goal for 2011 is to add a 2nd, smaller, signature entrance on Hwy 393 at Carpenter Drive, also with lilghting. In addition the landscaping contractor will be replacing any plants that died during the summer 2010 drought.

Whether or not there is a separate newsletter, or we just post any news here, feel free to send pertinent information to me at any time for possible inclusion here. And any gorgeous photos would be wonderful to add, as well.

I hope this proves valuable, and please, contribute and suggest away! Need to post something, a question, an idea for a 'block' party, this is the place! Lost pets. Whatever we need and want.
