Canyon North, a subdivision in NW OKC, located near the South East corner of Hefner Road and Rockwell, was started in 1972.

The history of the land dates back to Aug. 5, 1899 when it was homesteaded. In 1917 the land was purchased by the Talbot family and was handed down in their family through the years.

In 1946, the land was deeded to Lloyd and Osa Mae Talbot, brother and sister. They resided in the original house on the property. MORE...
