Welcome to Sherwood Forest!

Welcome to one of Detroit's most gracious neighborhoods!

Sherwood Forest, which was platted in 1917, is made up of two subdivisions, Sherwood Forest and Sherwood Forest Manor.

Sherwood Forest Manor is the property on Parkside and Renfrew between Cambridge and Pembroke. Sherwood Forest is the remainder of the community.

Most of our approximately 435 homes were built in the late 1920's and the 1930's. The neighborhood was patterned after an English village, and the names of our streets reflect that heritage.
