The City of Gaithersburg is a wonderful place to live, a truly Green City, whose motto is 'Character Counts.' Our development, Shady Grove Condominium 2 Inc., sits in the middle of it all. We are a townhouse development comprised of 108 units. Surrounding us, are a number of schools, stores, post offices, businesses, parks and recreation areas. Most are within a short walk or car ride. Don't have a car? No problem, we have numerous public transportation stops and the Shady Grove Metro station is mere minutes away. Metro Gives our community members access to Rockville, Washington D.C. and beyond. This website provides association members and non-members a unique forum for sharing thoughts, ideas and information. We strive to give the community access to vast amounts of information about our board of directors, management company, city, state leaders and programs, charities, clubs events, churches, temples, and much, much more. One need not be a member of our association to view and contribute to our website. Membership to our website is free. We encourage, and welcome suggestions for improvements to our website and the membership experience. This new website give us powerful tools packaged in a unique forum to discuss and share a wide range of topics that are of interest to the community. It also allows unprecedented interaction between the board of directors and the membership as a whole. This is especially important as many cannot attend board meetings due to conflicts in their schedules. It also allows unprecedented and secure access, and transparency to our association's board, our membership and all the while providing an essential set of checks and balances to protect the community. This site is new, and continues to evolve daily. Please feel free to ask questions, point out errors or omissions and report violations of the Bi-Laws, all this with total confidentially. Lastly, volunteers are welcome. You can volunteer your time, money, equipment, talent, services, and information or what have you.
