Now a Drug Bust

I am sure that was just an isolated incident. Clearly we couldn't have two High School principals covering up seperate incidents that would be of great interest to all of the parents of children attending that school. If your kid was attending that school wouldn't you pay more attention to where they went and who they went with. Would you lecture all of the other parents to check their kids back packs? Obviuosly if your child was going into an environment that was dangeous each morning wouldn't that concern you? Maybe for these drug offenders we make them sit on the time out stool.

If we had a major drug bust was it conducted by the Pickerington Police Department or the county Sheriff?
Good Questions

I also would like to know the answers to your questions. It seems as though some posters would want us to have blind faith in the school officials because they took action after an incident occurred. But if a teacher knew the student was dangerous then the teacher had a responsibility to protect the rest of the students at the school. Someone posted that proactivity begins at home, and while I agree wholeheartedly that parents cannot and should not shirk their responsibilities, if a teacher knew of a threatening situation and did nothing then that teacher also needs to be expelled (i.e. fired).

Time out Stool?

Who knows who the busting agency was?

Like I said earlier, ''IT WAS WIDELY UNREPORTED''.

I would assume since the Central school sits within the jurisdiction of Pickerington that the city made the drug bust.

It is NOT MY JOB to instruct other parents to inspect their kids back packs.

Are kids even allowed to carry back packs anymore?

Reality is upon us!
What will it take?

The kids in Ridgeview are acutely aware of a dangerous and violent student among them as is PLSD administration. This student has been suspended numerous times, expelled and taken back, moved to Lakeview, run through the process there and now she is back at Ridgeview. She regularly attacks students in any location that suits her but prefers the bus for her arena. She has been banned from the busses for life but still rides them. She simply walks to Central and gets on there.

Why, you ask, doesn?’t the bus driver recognize her and keep her off at Central? Simple, her victims are often bus drivers. You see, she is bigger than many of them. This girl is 16 years old, eligible to drive yet still rides the bus and terrorizes the other children. This girl brags about dating adult men because she obviously has the physical attributes to fool them. This girl brags about going to bars, getting drunk and alludes to the drug parties she has attended. What is a 16 year old doing in 8th grade you ask? Because that is where she will always be. She cannot get past it.

When other children asked the school administration why she is still there after all the disciplinary offenses taken against her, the answer was ?“Because she has no where else to go.?” You see, one of her parents is in prison and the other is much like her.

What steps are being taken to assure the safety of my children from this person? Will my children become her next victim of violence or intimidation? Will my neighbor the bus driver soon be attacked by this girl as she has attacked others? Will my other neighbor the teacher be next on the attack list of this girl?

We all know about the drug and booze parties held by athletes after the games. We all know about their rabid sports booster parents either buying them the booze or looking the other way while they consume it. We all know about some law enforcement officials looking the other way. We all know about the ?“yellow market?” of clean urine sales to the athletes because so many of them cannot pass a drug test. We all also know this is not Mayberry. Some of this crap will go on no matter how much responsibility parents take for their children. But when you have someone on her third or more trip through the 8th grade with a documented history of violence and more, when is the line drawn? Will it take this girl causing serious injury to get her the help she needs? Will it take her attacking a bus driver while the bus is moving and hurt many to get her the help she needs and the protection the rest of our children need?
