Please explain and be specific

You make the following statement below:

''However there still seems to be an effort in this new high school to cover up things up that may have a negative impact on the school system. Problems like this will never get solved if they never leave the Principal's office.''

Specifically back up your statement. This school dealt with inappropriate behavior and terribly bad choices made by a student, called authorities and pressed charges. The school principal also sent a letter home to all parents with children in the school. The student is suspended and has an expulsion hearing that will occur next week. In my mind things are well out of the principals office.

I don't think the school district has the money to buy a full page ad in the local papers announcing this - but they played the hand this child dealt them and I think did a good job.

This problem needs to be solved at home - while it's the schools job to keep our kids safe and educate them. It's the parents job to teach values and define expectations that they have for their child both while at home and away from home. Maybe the parent should have been more proactive and worked with the school to identify and ask for help if it was warrented.

What else don't we know?

It appears there are those wanting to spin the truth of this beer bottle attack and they are losing ground.

First the attacker was a known drinker.


The victim did ask for help PRIOR to the attack.

The victim was injured with a cut on the face.


The attacker did smear his blood according to eyewitnesses on the school lockers that maybe your child might come in contact with. Please refer to BLOOD BORNE PATHOGENS.

The Staff was very slow to react they stood by and watched while the attack was going on. Only when the attacker back away from cutting himself did the staff approach the attacker. ''The staff appeared to not know what to do.''

Now we add that they believe the attacker went to his car to get the bottle of beer. What else did the attacker have in the trunk of his car? Is this where he keeps his stash of beer to get him through the day?

How many trips does/did this boy make to his car during the day? How many other kids live out of their cars during the day?

How did kids that didn't know him, know that he was a drinker?

How does the parent here know that there are hundreds of attacks going on in the Columbus Public Schools and what was the point of that comment?

You are incorrect and...

You are obviously a moron.

If this happened in the Columbus Public School system it would have been widely reported. You probably would have heard about it if you lived in Alaska. Dan Rather would have had a segment about the incident. Andy Rooney would have even commented about how plastic bottles are safer than glass.

We Never Know

There was a major drug bust at Pickerington High School (now Central) several years ago.

The bust went widely unreported even though it involved a large quantity of acid (LSD) a hallucinogen.
