nedl Valued Neighbor Muscabamastan 5426 Posts	what about the rights of the business owner. what about casinos.ever work at a lumber cutting company, paint shop, rubber shop, coal yard, construction site, janitorial service, plastics plant, metal foundry, chemical plant, garage, gas station, oil refinery, etc. I have worked in a steel foundry in the Q.C. and it was horrible. it had silica sand, manganese and probably a lot more. just a thought ! The tobacco nazis won. And if you people persist in smoking they will have you sent to a smokers gulag. Just like in 1939 in another place. April 14th 2008 Report Reply

bigbrother Neighbor Muscatine, Iowa 6176 Posts	Actually, when it comes to having a right to do whatever, we can attribute that right not otherwise specifically addressed directly to the "pursuit of happiness" clause we are all guaranteed. It exists for a reason and is debatable, of course, but it is individual from our Declaration of Independence. That seems to be an umbrella right covering things like rock climbing, skydiving, smoking, or choosing your career field. You have to decide if your pursuit of happiness is being infringed. Of course, as in all things, we cannot drive what we do over other people or cause others harm, etc., from our activities. Unalienable rights from our creator. April 15th 2008 Report Reply
