Marquette Park is a diverse, stable neighborhood dominated by the Park in the center. Traditional Chicago brick bungalows have been home for generations of immigrant families. First Lituanians and other Eastern European people and now Africa- American, Hispanic and Middle Eastern families have raised their children in this neighborhood. In summer Ashburn Farmers Market is popular with residents, as is Marquette Park Golf Course. The diverse cultural makeup of the area means excellent dinning options for all.
