Welcome to Lemoyne Gardens!

Located in southern Memphis, Tennessee, LeMoyne Gardens is an existing public housing community which is being radically remade as a result of a 1994 HOPE VI grant.

The site sits between an historic African-American college, historic cemetery and single family neighborhood.  The inspired design of the new units, all patterned on local house types, will give the character of the community that of a single family neighborhood.
