The East Gateway is the entrance to downtown Clearwater. In 2008 The East Gateway Business and Neighbors Association was formed. Many strides have been made to upgrade this area. With a strong presence of the Clearwater Police crime has begun to subside. The Neighborhood Association has held several Walks Against Crime, has had two Neighborhood Cleanups, and has been successful in having four murals completed. We continue in our efforts to unite our residents to work toward improvement and beautification in Clearwater's East Gateway.

The Trail is coming
But unfortunately not to us yet. Construction will begin on a section t0 extend from Belleair Road to behind Bright House Field. Groundbreaking will be on Monday, November 6 at 10 a.m.
