 Coney Island Resident Association, Inc. Mission Statement

Our mission is to promote and implement meaningful services and programs that ensure academic, financial and economic success for all residents.  We will create and foster excellence in our community, our environment and recommit ourselves to the dedication of preserving a safe and secure living environment.  We will strive for maximum resident participation while cultivating relationships with community organizations to assist us in maximizing the potential for all residents to achieve their goals.  We will stand as representatives in all matters for the best interest of the residents.  We will provide educational and employment programs and opportunities for all residents nd dedicate our time to promoting a sense of pride and community.

Vision

Our vision is to enhance the quality of life in our community through Resident Management of common areas, enforcement of rules and, support of initiatives that strengthen bonds among residents, while making investments in capital improvements that benefit the greater good.  We envision a community that is considered by residents and non-residents alike to be a desirable place in which to live and enjoy the benefits of family, friends and community.

Greetings from the President

 

       On behalf of the Coney Island Resident Association, Inc.,I welcome you to our website and thank you for your interest in our organization. Our membership represents a diverse group of residents from various professions and occupations dedicated to advocacy on behalf of youth in the areas of leadership development, job training, health, education, economic development and socio-political advancement.

 

We are committed to fulfilling our mission by engaging the membership and producing program initiatives that will address the challenges affecting our families and community.  Through collaborative efforts and partnerships, Coney Island Resident Association, Inc. will serve the community by leveraging our collective resources and serving as a voice to advocate on behalf of our youth, their families and the community. Our organizations motto is “Don’t talk about it, be about it” and we will
accomplish this with your donations and support.

 

It is my desire that you share in our enthusiasm, as you learn about our mission and goals and participate in our program offerings and events.
