Louisville Friends Meeting (Quaker)
New Families
From Burundi and Tanzania
We have three families of new members who have recently immigrated here from Burundi and Tanzania with the help of Catholic Charities of Louisville.
They speak some Swahili and French and are presently attending ESL classes.
The children are attending public schools and some of the adults have already found jobs. It's plain to see that these are hardworking folks.
