We are a family oriented neighborhood proud of our place on the National Register of Historic Places. In 2006 we became the fifth bungalow neighborhood in Chicago to earn this distinction. Perhaps the center of our community is fabulous Gompers Park, 39 acres of river frontage, wetlands, a lagoon, swimming pool and non- stop activities, including River Rescue Days, Nature Oasis night and Bunny Bonanza each spring. We have good restaurants, close by for those nights when we don't feel like cooking.
