Evening gents! Agree, agree, agree,............sort of agree..... and well not so much. It's safe to say we all fear for our personal, familial, municipal and national safety. "Mighty Mac"? Better perhaps at holding our military to and in better standing than Obama. Biden didn't do any more than 2/3 rd our entire congress from both sides(silly notion really), regarding the war vote. Both sides came together as we all should have. Who didn't shed tears while watching those planes hit our international icons? While the Pentagon was in flames, and in a field in Pennesylvania a plane of heroes lie in waste? Who in God's name didn't feel the fear, the rage we understandably felt watching innocent people fling themselves from one hundred story hights rather than burn to death? Highest emotion couldn't possibly represent how the entire world felt for the USA. We took an unheard of load of international pitty and respect not felt since Dec. 1941, out of an attack representing more than 33 countries in deaths. Then.............. established irreversable conditions mounted from the highest office in the world, and as I said before,(WE all know it) chose through unrelenting fear mongering, scare tactics(that work), perpetual "HERE THEY COME AGAIN refrain, loads of pointless intelligence from some secret but trusted cources and chose to believe the attack came from the wrong direction, becuase the group we put in the office most high, said so. WE PRIMARILY BELIEVED from the most senior represnetative to the lowliest street urchin that Iraq, not Osama Bin Laden hiding and protected in Afganastan, whom we knew for absolute certain was responsible for that, and other horrible atrocious acts against us and mankind in general. Yes you are right. Joe Biden voted for the war as did McCain, Palin obviously would have too, but Obama did not. We know why he didn't and we know why they did. You perhaps would have and yes, so would most of the rest of us under what we felt, thanks to our leaders most high. Thankfully we have this thing known as regret, remorse, and the highly moral gift of forgiveness. We made a terrible mistake in where we went after those attacks. I forgive every shred of the hatred and misguided judgement of every man woman child and represtative who took that stink bait after 9/11/01. Including GW and all "his." So now we understand, it was a huge mistake and we got mired in it far too long and as you so aptly point out, we just cannot walk away now. The mindlessness of saying "we must win in Iraq" rather than saying we need to start planning to give back Iraq to it's people, is this campaign's biggest error for Mac. He served with the greatest of honor and came home to share his experience and strength. He knows we *^$%#$ up in March of 2003. But sadly he like GW, cannot admit it and truthfully I understand that mentality. He's trying to win the presidency and what kind of leader would he be(in his mind) if he publicly said it. Be that is it may and sadly it is........we have this huge fish to fry right now. The entire world's economy is a dwindling thimble of it's former self. And what use is it to waste time pointing to this one or that one or a USA without the mighty strength of it's economy to be able to back this military to end this war; and continue to fight the one we should have already won in the first place? A PAPER TIGER is what we will be, because you cannot build a tank or a bomber with.. no.. money. So I do understand that most pacifists tend to be Dems. though you might recall that inspite of Clinton's attempts to get Osama B. L. after three previous attempts at his particular brands of meyhem, congress tied Clinton's hands. That majority wasn't held by the dems then. It's not about partisanship, not any longer at least. So lets just cool our heals a bit and accept that even undr Mac we wouldn't be able to make a go of another conflict at this financial juncture of our nation. If diplomacy would have made a difference six years ago it will make a difference now. Shure, build a strong defense, build a powerful front line if needed to offend and if you REALLY think here, the worst attack of all on this great nation and the world's economy was successful, thanks to Bin Ladin and the reps we put there, we took the wrong aproach and suffered the real attack at the banks and our pocket-books. Why do you suppose they chose to bring down the two greatest symbols of the global economic infratructure, the world Trade Center? As Mac put it last night. " Teddy Roosevelt said: Speak Softly and Carry a Big Stick" Without an economy to back that up, we'll have a pretty tiny stick. |

I believe we made the right decision going into Iraq. When we went into Iraq, Bush promised to keep this country safe from attack, and so far he has. Although I know that every AMERICAN life lost in Iraq is a tragedy, I think we would all agree that we would rather have the terrorist shooting at our military and blowing up themselves then shooting at our civilians and blowing up our buildings. When Bush and CONGRESS put us in Iraq THEY changed the playing field, THEY put us on the offensive, and THEY put us in the terrorist backyard. As far as the election goes I am 100% behind the Maverick. I don't know about you, but I like the idea of paying less taxes ( creating more government revenue), drilling our own oil, having smaller government and less government bureaucracy, and I REALLY like the idea of having someone in office that is actually a citizen of this country. Yes I said it barack hussain obama is not even a citizen of this country. dont beleive me, look it up for yourself. here's a good starting point. http://obamacrimes.com/ Now I'm sure I will catch sh!t from u stupid, idiotic, mindless, brain-dead, left-winged, liberal loons, but I don't mind. I believe the American people should now the truth about those who are running for public office, especially the office of president. |
