I'd still like to know just how it is that a non U.S. citizen is able to run for president. And even if he did establish citizenship, he still can't run. It has to be a 3rd generation citizenship to be able to run. In my opinion, the dems owe the American people a huge apology for even putting him in there in the first place.

barack hussien obama (bin laden) is the one who by god better be stepping down and apologizing. And being a business owner myself, I am deathly scared of the idea of that lying, decieving individual being president. He will put me and a lot of small businesses right out of business with much higher taxes that he already stated will be done.

No people, he is not the Mesiah, his name is barack, and he has been a very very naughty boy.

ProudAre you obama, you sure don't show it, with your 56 states in the union, and still one more to visit. And refusing to put your hand over your heart during the national anthem. And never once ever reading the constitution or knowing anything about. Which is why he THINKS he has the right to be president.

Because substance doesnt matter, if obama loses you will hear the race card being played by the dems like never before. One source said obama voted a whopping 130 times "present". seems pretty indicisive to me. but what do i know i choose to think for myself instead of allowing a particular party to think for me.

The best way to determine who will gain the presidential reigns is to look at the character of the candidate.

Who is honest?

Who is transparent?

Who has friends that will direct him in advice that is good for the nation?

Who has a handle on the difference between good and evil?

Answering these questions HONESTLY will direct you to the candidate that you can trust no matter what challenges come his way.

"Awe....... now yakee, you really shouldn't autta say that."

You're a smart person to be sure, though it saddens me, the need to exhume the incorporeal minds of a once great nation of thinkers from the dregs of history. Thusly, we are doomed to repeat the sour lessons of the past yet again. But nontheless, I sorely hope McCain hangs in there. The realities facing us will continue to arrive  regardless of the candidate taking the oath of office. The lates pundit's "fact checkers" aside of the bipartisan commitee's estimates, put Obama's budget at slightly less than 180 Billion under McCain's. Not taking into account that "Mac"  just suggetsed adding another 300 Billion(respectively) for a terrific idea actually, to hock 40-50% of our most troubled mortgages to Uncle Sam. You are uber correct in that assesment, we are in deep dodo either way. I honestly feel "Mighty Mac" might be a better over-all world leader. But his age and health deeply trouble me. And PLEASE trust this... coming from another woman!....... I deeply feel that Governor Palin is not qualified to run this country. She's folksy, down to earth-ly, cute and by most men's standards(Quite the babe), but trust your instincts here. Tina Fay might actually be a better candidtate. We may never be able to stop scratching our heads over that one. What was Mac thinking? The best then that we can hope for is that He wins, with an even split in Congress. You clip one wing of the eagle and she flies in circles, balance them out and she might fly straight for once. In other words, lets not forget that unless there is a massive dismounting of one party or the other, the President is nearly powerless or totally powerful. The electorate will need to take the responsibilty for the mid-terms in that balancing act.

Can we all agree that in spite of the Keating S&L scam under GHW, no show votes, that seem to be in part at the heart of our problems; or the association with this moron or that radical (antient history), none of these non-issues will make the slightest difference in the outcome of our next four years? If the Keating Five had anything to do with what we are enduring today, then fine attack! Or, if the Wrights or Ayers of the past had anything to do with our newest messes, then by all means attack! But they do not. Character strengths should have been the issues when these men and women first sought thier jobs again and again. Now is not the time to take the low road especially for "Mac".  John should never have lett Gov. Palin loose on Obama in that way, not this late in the game. Nor should Obama have gone out there to chop MCCain down over Keating even though "they drew first blood" in that way. Take them down through legislative record. Especially after having pledged to run a clean campaign. Even for us Reagan Dems, Independants, and Moderates, it makes sense to cut taxes at the grass roots level. We tend to hear and see what we want too while half listening to the candidates over most issues. Mac wants to keep the Bush plan, simple. Obama wants to adopt a fairer rate balance. After eleven years as an economics student and instructor, I see why both feel thier plan is best. Heck, you don't need economics excellence here, just being a working wife, mother, and grandmother in charge of the family budget is all this gal needs to get it. Here we are 300 million plus and growing. 7-10% of us are wealthy or VERY wealthy. (Hard work or the old fashioned way) That's 21-30 million out of 300 M I L L I O N. Most of that 270 million are near or below the moderate/middle income brackets who mearly control 10% or less of our entire capitol base. You then take that top 10% and give them the lion's share of an 18% tax cut(Regardless of what Rubenstien theorizes) and then toss that 270 million down there.... the scraps of 6-8%, though they spend nearly every dollar they earn from Friday to Friday with nothing real to show for it.  Any pundit or rep for the other guy can fiddle with the quarterlys to come in with an attractive slide to suggest that the wealthier pay the most in the longrun. Laughable considering our out of control free trade market. So all Mac need do is insist he'll close the corporate loopholes to keep our manufacturing jobs at home, suggest that we leave the top 10% alone, right at GW's rate, and cut the lower 270 Million's rate to18% while knowing fully well that it will take most of the next 4 years to make any of it work. Anytyhing these boys and girls say they will or want to do is a pipedream at best untill the entire collective on capitol hill pull thier heads out of thier asses(SCUZE MY FRENCH)

The debates? Pointless. They only serve the media and pundits ego and give them a paycheck while nearly 98% have already made up our minds. Come Nov. 4th there won't be 2 in one hundred actually close the curtain and vote for the one they didn't "like" last week. You all know it's true. And as you once wrote, why not take a pay cut on capitol hill? If Mac or Obama pulled that one out of thier butts we'd hear cheers through the next election. Of course they would actually have to go through with it. So at risk of becoming the biggest blowhard out here, I'll just ask that each of us turn from the stumpers and pundits for the next couple weeks and do some real, "stick your nose into it" checking of both these men's representative records(longer for McCain) and vote with a factual background to guide you. Or just take one or the other's word for it as most usually do. Good luck.
