I like Sarah Palin, i like the down home attitude she has. Granted she has the least experience,but she makes me feel that shes the least corrupt of the four. Does that mean i think she could lead the country , i dont know cuz looks can be decieving.

If we were being faced with a war, i would want someone tried and true. With the Iran situation as well as Iraq, and Afganhistan, especially with Iraq if we allow obama to pull out .We WILL be there a third time, and lose even more lives trying to gain the foothold we have right now. Colin Powell said if we invade we would own it til its done.Well we did invade and we do own it, now lets do it right. Militarily and security for this nation we need a republican. Democrats are afraid to use our military for anything more than peace keepers, under clintons administration it appeared that the U.N. was in control of our military. Militarily, McCain is the best man.

Obamas association with Ayers bothers me, it had to have known his history.

As for biden, our beloved chosen stated on this war that 935 lies were told to get it.Biden voted for the war, so if biden can be duped 935 times by a KNOWN liar. That makes me very very very afraid. As it makes him very gullable. And in this day and age we cannot afford that for the security of our country. Not too mention that biden himself was against obama until he was picked for the V.P. job. So if members of his own party have doubts of obamas abilities then i do too.

As far as my own personal pick, i liked Rudy Giuliani the best. Mitt Romney and McCain were tied at the very bottom of my list.

I think it's time we let someone other than the conservatives have a hand at trying to  run the country.  What's it been?  Seven years since we've heard the mantra about getting Bin Laden and the guy is still running loose between Pakistan and Afghanistan?  In the big leagues that's referred to as 0 for 7., a .000 average.  Time to bench the conservatives and go with a different approach.

It is time for a change in this country.  Whether that change is Barack Obama/Joe Biden or John McCain/Sarah Palin I really don't know.  I'm leaning towards Obama/Biden but I'm keeping my cards close to my vest.  Too much of the mess we find ourselves in today is not the blame of one certain party.  There's far too much finger pointing and I told you so's being tossed about like mad chatter on a playground.  Folks we got ourselves into this mess pure and simple.  Up until recently there is not a one of us who can't say we've been living the high life and riding the crest of what we considered a huge economic wave when we should have been paying closer attention to those, We the People elected to protect us from such devastating shenanigans.  No, I'm not blaming GWB or Cheney.  I'm pointing the finger of blame at me, at you, and at all Americans for these troubled times.  No one twisted our arms to live beyond our means and certainly no one could have anticipated the economic meltdown which is now turning into a global catastrophe.

What I'm saying is we allowed ourselves to lulled into a false sense of security by the politicos who we have running our country.  This $840 billion bail-out is only a butterfly bandage to what is really needed.  Look back to 1929 when Wall Street last crashed.  Sure times got tough.  People lost their jobs.  But it took 4 years before the banks  started foreclosing on the mortgages of the American people.  That is when the Great Depression actually took root.  These fat cats like Flud of Shearson Lehman with his fire sale salary of $450 million dollars explaining to Congress he has trouble sleeping at night wondering what he could have done differently and these professional stoops, these elected coddlers sitting in consort with this turd nodding their heads in agreement with him.  C'mon people get a clue.  This isn't about Red vs. Blue, Republican vs. Democrat, or White vs. Black.  This is about our survival and we come here to argue and bicker about why Obama isn't qualified to lead us, or Palin is to ignorant to ascend to the Oval Office. 

It doesn't matter who goes inside the White House.  What matters is we keep our eyes open to what goes on around us and not be spoon fed more and more lies.  It is time We the People take our country back and tell those fiscal pirates on Wall Street that our hometown Main Streets come first.  We've given those Wall Street rascals $840 billion dollars that, from what I've read, our country doesn't have to give.  We're still funding and supporting two war fronts in the Middle East and the irony of it all is, our U.S. dollar is not even gold backed any longer and hasn't been for ions.

Sleep well America.  Brace yourself for a further on-slaught to your savings and pocket books.  This is the quiet before the storm.

As ive said in previous posts , both parties got us where we are, its why i never vote a str8 ticket.

I read an article on the bailout, it blames, clinton , bush, banks, and home loan borrowers, as well as wall street and greenspan, and several others.

I just get very nervous when dems control the military especially in times like this. In past elections there have been better dems than repubs,but i was too young to vote so it doesnt matter. But national security especially now is high on my list of priorities.The economy means nothings if a terrorist kills ya. Our government was way too cocky when the first attempt on the twin towers in the early 90's. I never believed the attacks that happened on 9/11 would ever happen here. People refer to republicans as war mongers, well i would rather have a war monger in charge in these times over pacifism.
