Let me throw in my two-cents. First Snyder was one of the better people I've ever known. Was he a good Sheriff? Don't know, I never worked under him. The same can and should be said about Orr. I'm sorry, I can't recall a CJ Ryan at all, but my work has taken me well away from the Sheriff's dept. personnel.

What sadens me is we as a city and them as a Department can not agree upon a leader. Seems we change with every election. I think Hazen was the last sheriff to get re-elected. What year was that ????????

Once again choosen speaks without knowing.  You have no reason to be sad. The last Sheriff to be re-elected was Greg Orr in the last election. He is a 2 term Sheriff. That means he got re-elected. Pretty simple stuff choosen.

That you cant recall CJ is not a suprise if you are not a drug dealre. He has spent the last several years running the Drug Task Force. He has kep a low profile so that he and his officers can catch the bad guys. A job that I must add they, under his leadership. have done in an outstanding manner. They have taken thousands of dollars worth of drugs off the streets and amassed a very impressive convivtin rate. One of the highest in the state I think.

As far as the drug task force is concerned, well isn't that like a double edge sword? They may "have taken thousands of dollars worth of drugs off the streets and amassed a very impressive convivtin rate." It may very well be the highest rate in the state. However, does this point to success or lack their of? Hummmmm? Makes one think does it not?
