Since a day has passed and

now yesterdays news is history and I am certian that you rhirdt have accessed sources of news other than the Journal, what do you propose should have been the leading news story instead of the ''Kids.....'' that led? While the story that you refered to may not have been a disaster, death or destruction, it is news as I see it. Is it all that intesting to me? Nope but to many folks , I am sure it is. I am very curious as to what story you would have led with. I have no dog in this fight, I am just tired of folks bashing local stuff and not offering up any real solutions.
How viable of a financial investment do you think it would be to start another newspaper? I suspect not much of one. Your comments twords the Journal lead me to believe that you may have an ax to grind.

Herman

Thank you Herman. You took the words (your whole post), right out of my mouth. I couldn't agree with you more. And, constructive criticism, to me, is just a whole bunch better than some of the bashing that we have on here!

How about

this for a news story. A recent story on welfare fraud. How about a article on why we don't see more arrests for this. As a tax payer I want this kind abuse stopped. How about a story on How much time it takes to make a drug bust. It seems to me that we never see the ''big Player'' getting caught. Why is that. How about an article on idenity thieft and how unwilling the police are to deal with the problem. I can think about lots of stories that could be reported that are news but don't seem to make the paper.
