DF's cure for high temp

When my boys ran a high temp, I always gave them as many popcicles as they wanted. Keeps them hydrated and cools their body temp.

I dont agree with most of the posters here that Unity is worthless. I know several folks that work there and they are good folks and good at what they do. I still use Unity and the clinic and have had great service and treatment. Their billing does however suck bilge water.

I've never, ever had a problem with Unity. I could tell you horror stories about what happened to my father at Genesis and Iowa city, though. He wasn't diagnosed until he finally went to a doctor at Unity. Like so many of you, he believed that he could never get good care there. He found out there are good doctors and bad doctors at every hospital in existence.

I'm sorry for those with bad experiences. Those are the only kind we ever hear about. There's an old adage that says a satisfied person tells one other person. A dissatisfied person tells 10 others.

I even think their billing system is improving. At least the last time I was at the clinic I had my statement in 30 days and it was correct. I had a lot of problems when they were switching systems, so maybe gradually those issues are being corrected.

I've never had a problem at Unity and Dr Wettach has been my families doctor since he came here. I don't think you could find a nicer man or better doctor.
My father had all kinds of trouble at Genesis after surgery and my aunt almost died there this past summer.
My son had surgery done here last year and the staff was wonderful, the doctor was great and we didn't even have a billing problem! I could not have been happier about the treatment.
