has nothing to do with this discussion, or this issue, since he was not elected to the city council, Bob was, whcih now has turned out to be a huge mistake on our part.
I hope we all remember this come next time.

These people are no better (perhaps worse) than Howard. None of them has the courage needed to represent this city or thier constituents. Noene of them have the courage to do the hard thing, all they have the courage to do is complain about having no money.
Cut the police, cut firefighters, cut EMT's, get rid of people in public works.
Come on, if you don't want to pass the levy, just step-up and take responsibility for your ineptness so that when the city begins to tumble even further into the depths of disrepair and disrepute, you can proudly stand up and say to the taxpayers ''I did that.''

Maybe

Maybe the council would be better if it was just the rubber stamp type, but I think not. It looks like (and I am no expert) so far they are letting the people who are getting paid for running their departments do just that, maybe we should also. So far if the story is correct only one person's job MAY be cut/ or not replaced.
