Thought they got out of the gun and ammo business long ago.

I do ??? the high % of the raise but that's why WE elect who WE elect so that they make the deceisions for us and then WE can blame them.

I thought I read that it was the city that wanted to buy the shotguns for $5500. not the county.
Also the salaries are in the paper by state law, once a year for everyone that receives wages from the state, local or county governments.

Just so we can stay informed when looking at the Iowa Department of Public Safety's and the FBI's Uniform Crime Report stats for Muscatine County vs. City, can you tell us what is the proper ratio of officers to: total reported crimes, calls for assistance, accident investigations, prisoner transports, court testifying, report writing hours, criminal and follow-up investigations, and assistance to other agencies?

What is the ''cookie-cutter'' that you use to decide what size a department should be?

Would you take the intell a step further make the same ratio-analysis for the fire departments too?
