The Jefferson-Chalmers Citizens' District Council
The Jefferson-Chalmers Citizens' District Council was established in 1972. We represent the residents and those who have a demonstrable interest in the area bounded by Conner St./Clairpointe St. to the west, E. Jefferson Ave. to the north, Alter Rd. to the east, and the Detroit River to the south.
Our Mission Statement is:
The Jefferson-Chalmers Citizens’ District Council will trive to improve the quality of life of the Jefferson-Chalmers citizens. We are committed to residents, businesses and institutions working together to rebuild our community. Our approach includes promoting community control and ownership, stimulating many forms of reinvestment and encouraging responsible homeownership in the community.
