Welcome
Immanuel Lutheran Church is located at 7810 SE 15th Avenue Between Bidwell and Lambert Streets and has been serving the Sellwood Community for over 90 years.
Immanuel is a Member congregation in the Northwest District of the
Lutheran Church, Missouri Synod.
Our primary purpose for existing is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ. We make that proclamation within our own congregation and community, and, by supporting the work of the Missouri Synod, to the entire world.
Our worship services center on the cross of Christ and its effect on the lives of those who have accepted Christ as their Savior. We regularly celebrate the Sacrament of the Lord's Supper.
Our education program seeks to nurture the growing faith of our members in a variety of classes and presentations designed to meet the needs of all age levels.
