Built on the site of the world headquarters of Sears, Horman Square is in the larger communityof North Lawndale. Having suffered badly during the riots of the 1960's Horman has been successfully redevloped and currently provides residents with condos and single family homes as well as state of the art facilities in the Horman Square Community Campus. Shopping and dining are available just outside the primarily residential small Homan neighborhood. Mt. Sinai Hospital is minutes away. There is an olympic- size indoor swimming pool and premier exercise facilities in the Community Campus.
