No longer the industrial area it once was, Hansen Park is now dominated by the Park itself, which is owned and operated by the school district rather than the Parks Department. Hansen Park has all the usual amenities of a city park plus a several thousand seat stadium, used by area schools for athletic events. Housing in the neighborhood includes brick and frame bungalows as well as mid-century modern. Prices are affordable.
