The Hilltop has always been a unique part of the city of Columbus, Ohio, shaped by its distinct location and colorfull history.

The hill upon which it resides was formed during the Glacial Period, and the height of this hill has provided the Hilltop community with safety from natural disaster on more than one occasion.
