Chicago Lawn, located on the southwest side of town, is a diverse community with commercial districts on three sides. Restaurants have everything from tacos to shish-kebob and sweet and sour pork. Marquette Park offers 323 acres of green space with 2 gyms, a community garden, after school programs for kids, and a 9 hole golf course. Traditional Chicago bungalows and single-family dwellings make up most of the housing in the area.
