Chatham is a great neighborhood with two parks: Nat King Cole Park and Brown Memorial Park with softball diamonds, picnic areas, Movies in the Park during summer months, a spray pool for the kids, and lots more. African-American owned businesses have anchored this area for many years. The housing is mostly single-family homes with well cared for sidewalks and mature trees. Lots of restaurants and bars provide places to grab a bite and a Target store provides one-stop shopping.
