City of Woodlawn Park

On September 24, 2009 Ken Fleming held a Town Hall Forum at Christ Church United Methodist Church. Below are the three items discussed:

1. Represenatives from Saint Matthews Area Ministries discussed their Voluntary Organizations Active in Disaster (VOAD) chapter.  If anyone is interested in getting more information on VOAD you can call 893-0205.

2. A represenative of the Louisville Chapter of the Red Cross talked about Disaster Preparedness, and handed out several brochures. 

3. Bill Wetter of the Health Department discussed  Pandemic Influenza.

    Later this month I am going to the Red Cross and pick up some of the brochures that were given out at this meeting.

As I promised I have gotten the Red Cross brochures that were passed out at Councilman Ken Fleming's Town Forum on September 24, 2009.

If anyone wants any of these brochures you can email me at georgendfan@aol.com. and I will have one of our Police Officers drop them off at your home.  If you are around City Hall and see our Chief of Police Jim Carter or Lieutenant Bob Heaton they will get the brochures for you.  The brochures are on the table just inside the side door of our City Hall.
