Hi
I don't have too much time to spend on this site, but I sure am sorry to miss the meetings.
Some of the goings on.....huh
I have to comment on ditch cleaning...Not all ditches were created equally. Some require more attention than others. My own land sees it's *fair share* of neighborhood debris, but when I read that Kroger neighbors have to clean their own ditches, come on.
To the Council - What is standard practice in neighboring areas, for example Indian Hills? Does MSD clean their concrete? If so, what does it take?
Please consider monthly funds allocated for cleaning of all "large collection site, or otherwise excepted" ditches. Thanks.
Considering the area, and MSD-Westport Road maintenance agreements, costs should be negotiatable. Monthly costs could be minimized by negotiating with the railroad and holding them to higher standards for easement maintenance.
In my area, the railroad has left some *large* wind debris to be "washed away".
Thanks
Natalie
