I sent this to Ms Brown, the director of EAST FORT WORTH MONTESSORI ACADEMY. I will post the answer when I get it.

I don't know about how the rest of you feel about this issue but I hope thay have something in the works to address this problem. If not then we need to start exerting a bit of pressure.

I just occured to me there may be something going on on this, please post if there is.

Ms Brown;

Does the school have any immedate future plans about expanding your parking lot? It has been a topic of conversation among the residents here in White Lake Hills about the traffic hazard the parked cars are creating.

It is bad enough in the middle of the day but I just hold my breath if I arrive at that intersection when parents are picking up. Many of your children are shorter than the cars are tall and they just pop out from in between same. I am very careful and go at a crawl but I just bet not all do. That is a recipe for disaster if I have ever seen one.

I agree!

I also have some concerns. I think that I were the principal of the school that I would want a 20 mph sign posted infront of my school.The school has a circle drive. The parents should pick up in front of the school.
I also pick up trash that is dumped by the school population on a weekly basis.

It has been since april 24 and no answer. If there is support for addressing this then perhaps we need to get a comittee together, or assign it to an existing comittee.

I don't think that anyone is concerned about special fuctions at the school when there is an over flow onto the public streets, but it is a way of life with cars parked on the street in the middle of the day. They seem to have enough land to rectify that situtation. Often there are cars parked on the right and left, with the left side of their car parked against the median curb, next to another car on the other side of the street legally parked with the right side next to the curb. This condition leaves a very small opening to creep through near or at the school driveway.

I do not ever recall this type of routine blocking of the entrance to our subdivision when White Lake School was there.
