United Crescent Hill Ministries (UCHM) was literally swept into existence in response to the devastating tornado that swept through our community in 1974. Serving the neighborhoods of Crescent Hill, Clifton, and Clifton Heights United Crescent Hill Ministries was established with one purpose in mind: Helping fellow community members in need.

Senior Citizens Programs

Senior Trips
Seniors and others as space permits, enjoy a variety of trips to fascinating locations both locally and overnight on a fee basis.

Meals on Wheels
Nutritious Hot Meals are delivered daily by volunteers to home bound individuals

Social Activities and Nutrition Program
UCHM Senior Center Activities include exercise, bingo, entertainment, Computer Classes, and Wellness screenings. In addition Nutritious lunches are served to seniors every weekday at the Senior Center. Transportation is available on Tuesdays and Thursdays, call by noon the day before to make your reservation.

Information and Assistance
We provide Seniors with current opportunities and services available to assist seniors in their lives on a regular basis

Neighbors Helping Neighbors

Each June and September we have a “helping time” for Seniors in the 40206 area. If you are a home owner over 60 years of age and are on a fixed income, please call UCHM to apply for any needed home “fix up” repairs. For more information or to apply, call Lynn between 3 and 5 pm at 893-0346

EMERGENCY ASSISTANCE
Neighbors facing a financial crisis can apply for help through Emergency Assistance Program. Qualified clients receive short-term financial aid for rent, utilities and medicine. UCHM operates a Dare-to-Care food closet and has access to clothes, medical supplies, furniture and household goods through member churches and organizations

YOUTH PROGRAM

Middle School Students participate in educational, social, and physical enrichment activities through UCHM's after school and summer programs. Van transportation is provided so students can participate in programs including: league basketball, tennis, trips, and afterschool tutoring
