This Place Matters Too

Live Here? This is the place to enter a brief welcome message or descripti

on of your neighborhood.

We started this website as a page to express frustrations with the city of Orlando. Their stance against historic preservation is hurting the image people have of Orlando. It is known as a city without an identity...except for Disney. People who live here have to constantly fight with officials to save any little bit of historic character. So that is why we started this forum. Currently downtown residents are appaleed with the city officials' desire to demolish five historic houses in the core of downtown. They want to buy them for 8.5 million and then tear them down.  Comments on historic preservation in Orlando are welcome.
