Within city limits, possession or use of fireworks is illegal, punishable by heavy fines. Parents are held accountable for minors with fireworks. People can?’t control where burning fireworks end up, so they could harm themselves, other people or their property.
Over the July 4th period, to report fireworks activity (and remain anonymous) call the FIREWORKS HOTLINE at 207-7963. [You can dispose of fireworks by turning them in at any fire station. No Questions Asked. No Names Taken.]
