SWCA Thanks

In our last newsletter, we failed to thank District 117 State Representative Ken Mercer for donating two pair of tickets to a SA Missions game. We used these as door prizes at our July meeting. The lucky winners were Annette Myer and Esteban Cruz.
We thank Joe & Barb Arceneaux and Armando & Dawn Hernandez for renewing their memberships. Both couples are very concerned with the quality of life in our area.
We thank all of the SWCA members who gave their time to participate in the Sep 1st Planning Dept meeting to determine future land use within our area. They are: Sandra Gamboa, Anita Acosta, Dale Armwood, Barb & Joe Arceneaux, Carole Abitz, Richard Whitcher, Esteban Cruz, John Castro, Judy & John Adams, Fannie Mann, Ernesto Cavazos, Annie Gonzales, Maria Magallanez, Eufemia Hernandez, and Petra Martinez. We hope they can attend the follow-on meeting on Oct 4th (see article on left).
We thank Esteban Cruz for agreeing to maintain the Sky Harbour traffic island. Of course, that doesn?’t stop anyone else from pitching in. And we thank Leo Romanelli for giving Esteban a working lawn mower, after some crook stole Esteban?’s from his truck parked in his driveway. Such neighborliness and cooperation prove the wonderful community spirit of so many residents.
