The following information on crimes within SWCA boundaries, was taken from the SAPD website.
- Violent Crimes (VC) -Homicide?—Yellow Knife. Forcible Rape?—Falling Star. Robbery?—Old Pearsall Rd. Aggravated Assault?—?—Bowsprit & Five Palms. Another 6 VCs, including 1 homicide and 1 robbery, were committed in the SAPD service area just north of us.
- Thefts (T), when the victim(s) and the criminal(s) are there when the crime is taking place?—Crow Wing, Dempsey, Diamond Cove, Gwenda Lea, Kings Harbor, Old Pearsall Rd (8), Old Sky Harbor, Port of Call & Seahorse. Another 14 Ts were committed in the service area just north of us.
- Vehicle Thefts (VT), when the entire vehicle is stolen - from Emerald Port, Grey Wolf, Portside, Red Sky & Wheelhouse. 3 VTs were committed in the service area just north of us.
- Burglaries (B), when the victim is not there when the crime is taking place?—Beryl Cove, Great Spirit, Grey Wolf, Five Palms (2), Kings Harbor, Little Creek, Mariner, Old Sky Harbor, Painted Horse, Painted Tepee, Portside (2), Red Sky, Running Horse, Sagamore (2), Sail Loft (2), Trading Post, Timber Wolf & War Cloud. There were another 24 Bs in the service area just north of us.
- Vehicle Burglaries (VB), when items are taken from a vehicle, but the vehicle remains?—Echo Port, Five Palms (2), Island View, Old Pearsall Rd (2), Old Sky Harbor, Painted Tepee, Port of Call (3), Port Victoria, Sail Loft (2), Sagamore, Snow Fox & War Cloud (4). Another 15 VBs were committed in the service area just north of us.

Notice how often the crooks strike more than once on the same block. They keep their eyes open for opportunities to commit crimes; we must keep our eyes open for unfamiliar vehicles and people in our area. Write down license numbers.
