Welcome

The volunteers in our organization are dedicated to helping pets and their owners by offering spaying and neuter assistance to those who need help PLUS we provide medical assistance, adoptions and placements of cats and dogs.

We also try to educate people so that they are aware of improper treatment of animals.

We sponsor ''Partners for the Disabled'' and we contribute to many organizations who also are concerned with the well-being of our precious animals.

We welcome new members

Many members of our organization have been dedicated volunteers for 25 years or more. But, we need to find young people who could assist us in our goals.

We occasionally have fund raisers, such as yard sales or selling the Entertainment books. But we need people to help us in finding homes for displaced pets and we need telephone assistance when people have problems with their pets. There are many ways that people of all ages can help....none of it is hard work.

All of our volunteers love what they do and feel that they are providing a useful service.

Please let us know if you would like to help...we need new members. Our dues are only $10.00 a year for one person or $15 for a family annual membership.

Please send membership dues or contributions to South Shore Humane Society at Box 850187, Braintree, Ma 02185

Also, if you would like to receive our newsletters you may send your name and address to our p.o. box 850187.
