Norton Cancer Screenings - Portland Library

On Saturday, November 14 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., Norton Health Care’s Mobile Prevention unit will be at the Portland Library to offer free cancer screenings for adults 40 years old or older.  Norton offers pap smears, prostate exams, colon screenings and mammograms.  For those who do have health insurance and would like a mammogram, Norton is required by state law to bill the insurance company for that particular service.

 

Appointments are recommended, but walk-ins are welcome.  Anybody interested can call 899-6842 to make an appointment or to find out more.

7th Annual Mayor's Neighborhood Summit

 Save the Date! The Mayor’s Neighborhood Summit is a full day neighborhood leadership training conference consisting of workshops led by neighborhood leaders for peer-to-peer learning. There will also be an information fair, keynote speakers and networking opportunities.

Wine-Tasting Event
