Welcome to River Trails

The Fort Worth Star Telegram newspaper once referred to River Trails as the "Beaver Cleaver" neighborhood because of our "old fashioned" neighborhood feel. Come join in the fun!

The River Trails Homeowners' Association (RTHA) is an organization owned and operated by volunteer members of our community.

City Partnership

RTHA has built a reputation as an organization that gets involved when there are issues that affect our neighborhood. Developers and City Officials consult with our officers regularly when new situations arise. Our organization strives to keep our members informed of the most recent developments. We distribute 2 neighborhood-wide newsletters and 4 additional member newsletters per year.

Holidays and Special Celebrations

Christmas - Throughout the month of December, the neighborhood is aglow to celebrate the holiday season. Enter your home in the decorating contest! We recognize the holiday winners and the most decorated streets in our newsletter. Each winner receives a gift certificate and displays a yard sign for their award.

Easter - Every Spring we get a visit from the Easter Bunny at our Annual Egg Hunt held in the River Trails Park at the west end of Saranac/Creede/San Joaquin Trails. The egg hunt is divided into separate age groups so everyone gets to have fun. Check the newsletter for more information.

Flag Days - The residents of River Trails take as much pride in America as we do in our own neighborhood. Flags can be seen flying on the following holidays: Flag Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, and Memorial Day

Halloween: Halloween is an extra special holiday in River Trails. The streets are alive with scary ghosts and goblins in search of treats...also a haunted house or two. Enter your home in the annual decorating contest. Each winner receives a gift certificate and displays a yard sign for their award. Further information and winners are posted in our newsletter.

National Nite Out - Held on the first Tuesday night of October, this celebration invites all River Trails neighbors to join in: a) Heightening awareness of crime prevention, b)Generating support for and participation in anti-crime efforts, c) Strengthening police and community partnership and, d) Sending a message to criminals that they are not wanted in our neighborhood. Check your newsletter to find out how you can be a part of keeping crime out of River Trails.

Yard of the Month: It is important to recognize those neighbors in River Trails who put a special touch in their well-kept and landscaped yard. The winner is recognized with a sign posted in their yard for the month. They also receive a certificate of merit and recognition in our newsletter.
