Contract basics
According to Pickerington This Week:
1.5% increase the first year, 2% each in 2005 and 2006. The new base salary is $31,960. (Need to research what the old base was. It's very unclear if the 1.5% increase is included in the new base or not. If the increase is off the new base then the true raise is higher than 1.5%.)
Increased the severance days from 63 to 65. (Why improve something for someone leaving?)
Continued with a no deductible for heath care. (Anytime something is free you use more of it. How much more have the premiums gone up than if there was a deductible? You have to look at the increased expense here as an indirect raise.)
Will have to chase down a copy of the contract to have a better idea what is buried in it. It would be nice if PLSD posted the contract on it's website.
