All about money?

The party needs to remember that U.S Grant does not vote, and those who give many U.S. Grants, have only one vote.

Interesting things are happening this election, through the eyes of children.

When the Moveon.org commercials come on each night during the news, my kids ask me,

''Mommy, are those things they are saying true?''

Well, I have to answer them honestly, ''Yes they are true to the best of my knowledge.''

''Who will you vote for Mommy?''

''The kids at school are saying President Bush will lose.''

Keep in mind that my kids are early elementary and middle schoolers. In the last election, The elect Bush sentiment was strong, so strong that I think in the one school only two students voted for Gore in the mock election!

At the time, I thought this reflected parental views to a large extent due to the age of the kids.

I do not think it may be any different now, parental views appear to be not too pro Bush. If a viable challenger continues to campaign on these issues that are brought up on the Moveon.org commercials and if people believe he could lead in a better way, Bush is in big trouble in my view. So much trouble that the party had better pay attention to the local grassroots effort. That includes who leads it, Bush does not need more baggage.

The party had also be concerned about the fact that many intelligent people ''read'' the words on mailings, and if they do not believe what is said in the content, no matter how much money you spend on glossy mailings....they will not earn the vote.
