Warm a Heart Coat Day Nov 27th, 2009 THANKS FOR YOUR 2008 Donations of Coats & also VOLUNTEERING

Thanks for all your drop offs of coats, hats, gloves and warm stuff at the following locations

November- Mayor's Office, Home and Hospice Care of RI @ 1085 N Main St Prov, St Paul's Church on Park Place, Woodlawn Community Center, Pawtucket Park's office at Slater Park, Bristol County Savings Bank,  PCU, Brown University, AIW, Gail Ahlers Design Gifts and the Pawtucket Visitors Center have been well supported in the past- Warm Hearts Buy Nothing Coats n' Day November Collecting Drive Check out the great Community Players Chorus Line show at Jenks Jr High and drop off your coats and warm things there as well til November 22nd show ends.

Neighborhood Alliance of Pawtucket -A Buy Nothing Day Co-sponsor. Do you need an excuse to clean out your closet of year’s of unused coats (yours, friends or family members)? This is the perfect reason to make the winter warmer & better for all kids and adults less fortunate: and your closet so much nicer and you so much warmer inside too!

We are represented by the 15 plus organizations from your Neighborhood Associations and Business Associations and always growing with you and the time. Join us for our annual fall Nite Out program in September, Winter's Warm a Heart Coat Day, spring's GreenUp KleenUp for Earth Day or at our meetings or at your local block helping Pawtucket Pride!

We can do so much more with your ideas whether minutes from home or office or hours at the projects to make Pawtucket even better for each of us.

GreenUp KleenUp, Bike Decorating Contest at Pawtucket NiteOut, Warm a Heart Coat Buy Nothing Day and More!

Thanks for your continued support & ideas in the NAP with our business & neighborhood groups. Your emails, calls & comments in the talk section help.
We are continuing the successes of past years with a renewed GreenUp KleenUp program kick off on Earth Day April 24th, from our 60 ton KleenUp in the past to the November 3000 coats for Warm A Heart Coat Day and our Bike Decorating & NiteOut program in September. We also are involved in a series of Home Buying & Housing Rights and Responsibilities, and participated again with Mayor Jim Doyle in the Neighborhood Summits. Great improvements were made in all areas of the city from Barton Street to Woodlawn. We are not there completely yet, but we are a long way towards your goals thanks to you.
