Guess NBC News isn't good on its word either as they had a few more minutes of "Weiner" coverage tonight. I was surprised to see that they even pointed out that the Republicans and Democrats seem to have different ways of dealing with the rotten apples in the bunch, almost sounding critical of the Dems, which you don't hear very often. Kind of refreshing, but am sure it won't last as they were still beating the Palin comments to death. |

These are my words, not a cut and paste.
These guys in Congress and the Senate of course are imperfect, just like all of us. The problem is that a lot of them, like Weiner don't believe they are imperfect. Looking at the bigger picture we allow these legislators to ignore the constitution, their oaths of office, and conduct themselves like nitwits. No wonder they think they can get away with anything.
There is no constitutional crises here. As far as we know now, no laws were even broken. A guy got some some gratificaton in exchanging indecent or lewd pictures with some women. It was stupid. He should have known that someone would let it out to the public. Or probably someone found out about it and set him up. And he got caught. Most people think of it as inappropriate but it is not illegal as long as everyone is an adult.
