Question or statement?

Definitely a statement.   There's no question you don't understand.

Oh dear.  You really don't understand the question mark thing, do you?  It's about the meaning of the sentence, and proper punctuation.  This allows others to understand what you're trying to say.  Please try to concentrate and your communication skills are bound to improve.  Until then, don't begin to tell me or anyone else here what we do and don't understand.

I made a statement.  Without a question mark, that's what it is.   That's how punctuation works

I'll try not to tell you what you don't understand.   If you're happy with your beliefs, I'll try to leave you alone with them although I would think you would welcome corrections.

I may make comments to others about how wrong you are though.

You may have made a statement but it "talked" like a question by ending with "do you". So if it was so freakin easy now to say it was a statement why didn't you do that before instead of going thru all this crap? I don't what sex you are but you are truly a drama queen.

Look to the top line of this post.   That was when it was first brought up by SL at 9:19pm yesterday.

You'll note I responded "Definitely a statement" etc. etc.

Now that you know you must have missed it, I won't have to say "pay attention" or "try harder", or "please keep up" or any of those other snotty rejoinders.

 snotty rejoinders.

Exactly! mallhisopinion.......please quit being snotty in all your replies....

Oh my.  I must have struck a nerve with Stinky, as she is spending a lot of time trying to explain away a simple mistake in punctuation.  This is a major breakthrough for us.  The "do you" at the end of the sentence would certainly imply a question, but without proper punctuation it becomes simply a nonsensical mix of words, and not understandable.  Stinky is unable to merely say "yep, I left off that pesky question mark.  My bad".  It's just not in her.

Toni?  Is that you?
